Inspire of best efforts, no state electricity board can ensure constant voltage to the customer because of long and inadequate distribution lines and irregular load pattern on distribution transformers. Generally voltage is low during day time and high during night hours. Moreover on holidays, peak hours, Rainy days and when agricultural and Industrial load is switched off, the Voltage rises sharply which is more dangerous.

The industrial units having acute/high failure rate of Electrical Equipments such as Bulbs, Tubes, Chokes, Starter. Contactor Coils and Motors etc.5hould verify that it may be due to HIGHER Voltage. You may note down hourly readings of voltage Variation for few days. If you find that input voltage is above 230 volts single phase/400 volts three phase even for few hours a day, then you definitely require stabilizer.

Voltage fluctuation is a common phenomenon is every part of the country. The industrial units running round the clock, usually face the problem of low and high voltage. 90% of industrial load is of motors. Electric motors draw considerably high current at low & high voltage.

This higher current affects the electrical motors in three ways.

    1. Higher Current produces higher losses in electrical motors which causes premature failure of winding.
    2. These higher losses of electric motors also increase the losses of cables, Swiftest, Transformers and other associated equipment.
    3. For Smooth continuous operation of motors, over load relays and usually set of 20% higher setting.

Description Of Powerpac Servo Controlled Automatic Voltage Stabilizer.

Powerpac Servo Stabilizer primarily consists of the following:

1. Linear, Puls/minus Type Voltage Regulator: In our regulator we are using heavy section of electrolytic grade copper wire and rectangular copper strip instead of ordinary copper wire to minimize the losses and increase the efficiency of equipment. We are also using self lubricating carbon roller, Carbon Brushes which offers more reliability and trouble free performance of the equipment.

2. Double Wound Buck/boost Type Series Transformer: In our Buck/Boost Transformer we are using high permeable cold rolled grain oriented (CRGO) steel sheet insulated on both side, and high permeable silicon sheet to minimize iron losses and coils of Buck/Boost transformer are wound with heavy section of multi strips electrolytic copper to minimize copper losses forgetting better efficiency of the equipment.

3. Electronic Control Circuit And Meter Panel: Powerpac Automatic Voltage Controller consists of very simple electronic control Circuit for monitoring and controlling voltage repair and maintenance of which is very easy.
